With great sadness we would like to inform the members of our Club that one of our pioneering female life members has passed away, Johanna (Jo) Zeinstra.
Jo was in her 93rd year and is survived by her husband Henk and 4 children Frank, Marion, Fred and Terry.
The Zeinstra family has a long and proud association with the club that dates back to the 1960's, the family has 4 life members Henk, Jo, Frank & Fred. Frank and Fred both served as President and Henk is a past Treasurer and later in life was responsible for the cleaning and up keep of the rooms.
The Administration, players & members of the WCFC extend their condolences to the Zeinstra family.
A funeral service to honour the life of Johanna (Jo) will be held at Our Lady's Catholic Church, Corner White Street and Murdoch Road, Wangaratta commencing at 11.30am on Friday, June 6, 2025 followed by interment at the Wangaratta Lawn Cemetery.
